Year of Sacrificing

"For you did sympathize and suffer along with those who were imprisoned, and you love cheerfully the plundering of your belongings and the confiscation of your property, in the knowledge and consciousness that you yourselves had a better and lasting possession." Hebrews 10:34 KVJ - Amplified

Giving when it hurts is sacrifice and only as we are filled with the Holy Spirit are we able and willing to repeatedly give in this way, Jesus sacrified the glory, honor and comfort of heaven to come here and serve us so that we would know the true sacrifice and service. This year our goal is for our youth to more fully understand not only what true sacrifice is but to experience it with a heart full of God's compassion.
